Thank you for your interest in renting our cottage. In order to make your stay more pleasant, we ask that you kindly read and follow these instructions.
PAYMENT
- All payments are to be made payable in Canadian Funds by cash, personal cheque, money order, or by International Canadian Money Order if out of Canada.
- Bookings will be confirmed in writing on approval of application and on receipt of a 30% deposit. The balance is due and payable 30 days prior to the first day of the rental period. If the Client books a cottage and the application is approved and there is less than 30 days before the commencement of the vacation, the total payment is due.
CANCELATION POLICY
Any cancellation must be in writing 30 days from the beginning of the cottage occupancy date. If we are successful in re-booking the accommodation for the entire period booked, we will refund all monies paid less a cancellation fee of $50 per cancelled week.
DAMAGE AND SECURITY DEPOSIT
The Renter is responsible for damage to the Cottage (inside and outside), including recreational equipment. The Renter will provide a security deposit of $500 (Canadian) in case of damage and incidental charges.
Refund of security deposit will be returned within 2 weeks after check-out day, upon satisfactory inspection of the property.
PERSONS USING THE COTTAGE
The number of persons present overnight (including guests) must never exceed the number indicated by the Renter in Occupant List without the prior written permission of the Owner. Failure to comply can result in immediate eviction without refund.
OTHER CONDITIONS
- Check-in time is 3:00 pm on the date agreed in our Rental Contract.
- Check-out time is 10:00 am.
- Renters should bring their linens (sheets, pillow cases) and towels.
The Cottage operates on a septic system. Its misuse or over use could lead to major damage and expense.
- NO SMOKING IN THE COTTAGE
- NO PETS ALLOWED
- LOCAL PHONE CALLS ARE FREE, however you must bring and use a 'phone card' for all long-distance calls made during your stay.
- In the event that any unreasonable rowdiness or noise occur such that leads to repeated complaints by others, the customer shall vacate the premises immediately and forfeit the balance of the prepaid rental.
- Please leave the Cottage (inside and out) thoroughly clean and tidy (cleaning supplies will be available), or if you wish, we can arrange for final cleaning at your expense.
- Any damage that occurs to the cottage or anything on the property must be reported prior to departure, so that we may assess and mutually agree to the cost of repairs or replacement value.
