Bruce Peninsula Log House is located in the village of Dyers Bay on the shore of the Magnificent Georgian Bay in south western Ontario. The Log House is in a distance of 3 hour's drive from Toronto, London and Kitchener-Waterloo, and a 4 hour's drive from Windsor.
Provincial Highways 4, 6, 9, 86 and 21 (all toll-free) are the main connecting routes to the 401 and the 404, which all connect with most major routes in Ontario.
It is a five minute drive to Highway 6, and a short 20 minute drive to Tobermory, and the Cheechimaun Ferry.
In the near distance there are Bruce Trail and the limestone cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment with spectacular caves and grottos, both of which stretch about 700 kilometres from Tobermory to Niagara Falls. The Niagara Escarpment has been recognized by UNESCO as a "World Biosphere Reserve". Bruce Trail is a very famous hikers footpath. In winter, many of these trails provide excellent cross country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities.
For cyclists there is a wonderful road that runs from Dyers Bay to Cabot Head Lighthouse along incredible shoreline with the scenic views of Georgian Bay.
